regarding how management continues to give guidance of more settlements and filings this fiscal year if DM is taking SAMSUNG to a Markman hearing whose court dates appear to be,at the earliest, February of 2010 with trial dates in late 2010?
Can there be an earlier Markman hearing than February in this case?
Would DM pass up a substantial settlement just to force a Markman hearing?
The objective is to obtain as much cash as possible, and if SAMSUNG settles with a sizeable sum now, as opposed to another year or two of waiting for litigation to conclude.
DM appears practical, having nailed 6 for 6 smaller companies to get EDIG on solid financial footing.
Are we correct in assuming they are waiting for a SAMSUNG conclusion prior to issuing the next round of filings or is this being orchestrated to finish the year in flurry?
RP stated later this year EDIG may be in a position to attract microcap attention AND he stated that the next round of settlements would conclude faster than round one.
What are they expecting to happen prior to the end of this fiscal year? A Markman hearing doesn't quite seem to fit the bill as an answer to that question unless it comes earlier than February, imo.
I am fine with SAMSUNG being the Markman case, if DM goes there, but I am at a loss with respect to the timing, given management's statements, and the reality of inaction by DM.
Is DM working on a "partnership" as part of the settlement package? Would that
