That all sounds very grand... but why would the studios want to eliminate or even compete with a Blockbuster? They sell or rent DVD`s to them by the millions. That being said, I see no reason why another revenue stream in the form of a pPVR couldn`t become a reality possibly eminating from cable providers. Now that would be a good market to tap... and there would still be sufficient content for Blockbuster et. al to survive. Time will tell if we are to be a part of this mix.
