I have reported some numbers in the past from the last SHM, that a chart was shown for estimated CE sales for 2006 to be 30 Bln, and it was estimated for 2008 to be 50 Bln, as mentioned at the meeting.

I contacted RP asking for an update and he stated estimates from various trade resources put 2009 at $40 Bln, where removable flash was involved, re: cameras, cell phones and PDA's.

The economic down turn plays a factor, yet this is still a huge number.
