In addition, many of the flights crossing SE Asia are well over 2.5 hrs. This seems to be the niche that has made the most hay so far. While I have not looked at all of them, I believe many are actually profitable today -- a big plus and an incentive for Wencor. I`m sure Wencor knows the plight of selling to the almost bankbupt gaggle of legacy nitwit carriers.
One courius note:
With the stated success of Alaska Air and the ~5000 units purchased, why have we not seen other adoptors place larger orders?
* waiting for next G?
* still testing?
* competition?
* slow roll outs?
* orders coming soon, but not known to EDIG owners?
* or, simply no step up to the plate airlines?
