Instead of reviewing the past or worrying about the future, does it not make sense to simply wait and see what happens next? The 10K and any update/guidance that they choose (or do not choose) to release along with it will speak for itself, yes? In less than 2 weeks (and I think this week), we will all have that information to digest and to judge for ourselves what it portends.
In my opinion much of the discussion over the past few days is premature, unhelpful, and possibly harmful to our investment. Many seem to believe that it is management’s job to manage our expectations and to be more transparent and forthcoming with information. I happen to think it is our job to manage our own expectations and to work with what we are given (just as management must work with what they are given).
Let’s just see what they say and give it a chance to be something meaningful and positive rather than to effectively pronounce it as not good enough before the fact. There will be plenty of time and opportunity for all to chime in with what they think afterwards.
