PHILADELPHIA, June 12, 2009 - Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce its results in the Chambers USA survey of the American legal profession. The firm's recognition continues to grow, as 22 practice groups received citations for excellence, and its individual lawyers received another 60.
The 2009 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business is published by Chambers & Partners Legal Publishers of London.
Chambers singled out the success of the firm's national Insurance and Construction practice groups and awarded top-tier status to the Washington, D.C., Immigration and California Insurance practice groups. In addition, Chambers cited the following practice groups, by state. In California, where the firm has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Lake Tahoe, the Insurance practice group was cited. In Pennsylvania, where the firm has offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, seven practice groups were cited: Antitrust, Banking & Finance, Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Corporate/M&A & Private Equity, Intellectual Property, Litigation and Real Estate. In Illinois, where the firm's office is in Chicago, four practice groups were recognized: Banking & Finance, Construction, Corporate/M&A & Private Equity and Healthcare. In Massachusetts, where the firm's office is in Boston, the Bankruptcy/Restructuring and Intellectual Property practice groups were cited. In New York, the firm's New York City office was cited for Construction. In Washington, D.C., the Immigration practice group was cited.
