With all due respect...I have said the same thing for nearly 19 1/2 half years. Let me point a few things out (again). Will is out. Fred is back.
Why is Will out? Do you know? Since you don't how can we say it's positive or negative? I've been invested in this stock as long as most and longer than many. Until management has 3 items: Money, time, and opportunity I don't see how they can be judged so harshly.
1). They signed Boyers NDA. How stupid was that? Even if it didn't mean squat..they should have had their own. We wouldn't be spending $$ on the suit now.
A) It might have been extremely stupid and cost us a lot right now.
B) Or it might have been the only way that a struggling company could have kept the doors open. If you had to choose would you sign or go out of business?
C) Or it may have been a struggling company willing to sign to survive with full knowledge that the agreement was unenforceable.
We are all willing to take risks when circumstances are dire.
2). The only product that has made money and keeps us from being termed a patent troll has been the evu...which although is edigs...the marketing idea came from outside the building.
So what is wrong with taking a good idea and running with it? I guess they could have said, no it's not our idea so we'll wait to come up with our own. Or in reality they could have informed Boyer (which they did) that they were already working on it so it's not proprietary but great marketing idea, lets work together. I don't care what they(?) "label" us. Plenty of successful patent trolls. I know we're not a patent troll, don't you?
3). They were not able to license the tech to nearly 200 (their numbers) companies that apparently wanted and needed the tech for their devices. Although we can say these companies were and are thieves...perhaps the right people..or suits brought to bear earlier would have made a difference.
Sure they come on our BOD or "partner" up with us, gain access to proprietary information and decide to use it without paying. Smarter people would surely have prevailed. As for filing suits back then, you have brought this up over and over. You're right we could have filed way back then..."if we had the money to do so". We didn't.
4). Pretty much every statement during Fred's era is butkus.
Much did not come to fruition, I didn't like it any more than anyone else. For the last two years, some with Fred in charge we have not experienced the same condition.
The term is "Bupkis" :)
5). Yes. They have kept the doors open...for 20 half years and more. They have had plenty of money for that. What have we been paying for? Other than the evu...what have they actually developed in the last 5 years?
I truly understand what you're saying. Not to be rude or a smart alec but if you feel that management has failed you for 20 years, by being stupid, incompetent, lying and lacking in marketing skills. If you're focus is entirely on the past with no regard for what's actually happened currently, why do you continue to invest in eDig?
