First, well done Bill! A pointed list with positive aspects and suggestions. Sounds like somebody has done a little Marketing Communications along their career path. lol
I posted a day or so ago about the timeline and prolonged waits good companies like TIVO, RMBS, and TSRA have been and are going through with their own litigation. All three of those also have other proprietary products they are banking on for those infamous "alternative" revenue streams. Some will make it and some will not. I cannot recommend any of these companies today. I only use them as examples of comapnies that have IP litigation in the winds of our legal system with a vast array of possible outcomes. The bottom line is litigation stock plays are in vogue today. More than a few investors are looking at these types of companies, big and small. Some have made recent strong runs, some are still in wait mode.
My guess is DM has a specific strategy and they want control of all communication regarding those cases. They have already narrowed the claims and seem to be ready to go to trail if needed. EDIG needs only one claim to be confirmed to win and my guess is DM is headed to a Markman hearing for that win. Then, they can beat other mean ole copy cats over the head with that positive ruling and possible later trial. As I understand it, most cases settle post Markman if there is a clear confirmation of a claim. Comments welcome.
So, that leaves us to what EDIG can control and can report to shareholders. We should receive some specific information about eVU's new generation product(s), the IFE market, the non-IFE market and any samples / trials -- especially follow up to previous statements about military, health care, and travel industry samples/ trials. This is our "alternate" revenue stream and, at a minimum, it is important to new and larger investors with ties or influence to any micro cap Wall Street funds. We are not there, yet. With the positive prospects coming from the company, we could see a start to steady growth as EDIG may very well report the best year in company history in a week or so. That is very good news...a little help from the corporate side with some details would be appreciated not just by LL or myself or any of us Kool Aid drinkers, but by a whole host of new investors with piles of cash sittin' on the sidelines waiting for the next TIVO, RMBS, or TSRA. Obviously, just my speculation should we see the continuing progress and some sort of timeline.
Hmmm...I vote LL write RP's "Message to Shareholders."
