Funny you should post that and it`s dated today....I was just looking for that material...I read it the other day and did not book mark it.....I was looking for this phrase....``A particular strength is its ability to meet the WAEA Digital Content Management Working Group’s requirement that content not be decrypted between post-production and the aircraft.``

along with remembering....``Formation`s removable ToughDisk 3500 ruggedised hard disc

I had thoughts of where e.Digital encryption tech might end up while looking for this phrase...at the data loader....eliminating the need at each device as it would not be necessary due to the final processor/decode arrangement for premium content.

Formation`s drives are removable.....they will or should require a hard disk encryption/decryption scheme.

WENCOR will do the same...as IMS/Formation... condensing the DigEplayer content management to the server only...and relying on the content processor/decode for security of the

final transmission to the individual seat components....

IMO...E.digital for the DigEsystem if utilized will be at one point only.....the drives of the server....and thats it.

Unless they have something to do with the final transmission leg scheme in the seat components...but I doubt it.

DB funny you post that just that moment.

The other day I wrote ``IMS needs Wencor`` after reading this press.....not realizing this is all Wenco needed to do.

also ....reading this.....Data loading takes place automatically as operational conditions permit,

That rings of a similarity of the Wencor/edig scheme....but not sure of what is meant by automatically here.
