"What happens when a defendant goes into bankruptcy in the middle of a case, the court seems to have gone into a state of hibernation on this one?"
How are assets just simply passed to a suitor(Sakar) during a bankruptcy.....most likely at a substantial discount?
As I remember....Sakar somehow received the assets directly from Vivitar without being involved in the bankruptcy.....was this a deceptive deal in order to throw creditors to the curb on the true value of assets, as the court is openly doing in the Chrysler case?
Perhaps Chrysler could have avoided the scandal and just sold their assets prior to filing for bankruptcy...as it seems Vivitar did.
