Regarding PRs; did he actually word his response as you said? I mean, if he simply said that there would be ``many`` PRs ``before and after`` the YE financials come out, that really isn`t saying much (i.e., ``after`` could be now till the end of time or EDIG`s demise, and stated this way could mean zero or one PR before, and the real ``many`` after). Can you give any clarification here? (TIA)

As for the Linux ``concern`` and changes in royalty structure; I believe Linux is an ``open`` system, meaning to me that it is available free of charge with no licensing/royalties involved. Please correct me if I`m wrong! But, if I`m right, we won`t have to split the pie with them. I still remain unconvinced that MOS isn`t in the digEsystem (or, better put, perhaps the whole of the patented technological components that, when integrated, become MOS, may not be in the system, but almost certainly elements of MOS - EDIG tech - is in the device. Don`t need elements of MOS that enhance battery life in a wired system, for instance). Bottom line IMO is that EDIG tech resides in the device and, further, EDIG continues performing manufacturing oversight (why change horses mid-stream?). The royalty structure, therefore, IMO, may only be slightly changed or unchanged.

Security is about content security, not theft of the device. The device will have a USB2 port; content theft by users could still be a concern. EDIG tech.....

The report did ring a little of the old stuff re: new carrots when current ones aren`t ripenning fast enough. And there was that``pile of contracts on my desk`` comment supposedly made by RP years ago (which, BTW, I doubt was ever said, but may have been part of a hype strategy by the reporter who I believe was BusyBump - he still around?). I defer to SunPoop`s read as to RP`s earnesty here.

All in all quite interesting, even if not too revealing.
