First of all, I join everyone else in thanking you for your efforts to keep us informed.

Not being a lawyer, and perhaps too used to tv law shows whose trials conclude in a seemingly very short period of time, why is there such a lag between defendent/plaintiff case rests, proposed findings and conclusions, and final arguments?

I mean, trial ends 5/28/2009, then nothing until July 10th, and no date for final arguments? Again, not being a lawyer, this seems a long time between meetings.

Can anyone, (hey LL) comment on this and why it is what it is?
