The purpose, as per the Title, was to indicate how a company can grow via acquisition.

IMS plays in our backyard, and while EDIG is showing revenue growth via its patent asset effort, IMS is growing by expanding its product offerings from an acqusition target in a closely related parallel industry.

Again, my purpose for posting the activity of a competitor was to indicate this as a possible road for EDIG to explore to further enhance shareholder value, not to panic the troops that the enemy is at large. IMS and EDIG can coexist and be successful in their own right.

Of course, acquisitions outside of the IFE market are also very possible for EDIG, as partnership references have already been made by EDIG.

Maybe this will light the fires to accelerate some M&A activity for EDIG...sooner rather than later.
