These jury verdicts and those overturned indicate that early settlements for $5 to $25 million would be BIG solid wins for EDIG.
To avoid years of litigation and for the defendants to save years of court costs, settlement is the preferred route, but certainly not the only route.
With so many infringers, they can play it both ways.
I think EDIG will continue to go the way of settlements but I also believe we will, at some point, see the amounts begin to climb substantially, considering the jury verdicts these companies face.
As EDIG investor's "lessons in litigation" continues, the company looks to have a long stream of growing revenues for years to come.
1) resolve digecor case
2) report record Q4 and fiscal '09
3) layout the list for fiscal '10
4) target the eVU market and update shareholders on business prospects
5) search for acquisition targets to add gross and net revenues
