Well we never saw that it was a knife. It could`ve been a pointy stick. Any sharp object that might damage a touchscreen. I was just curious if newer touchscreens can withstand scratches.
Thanks for pointing out the obvious that knives aren`t allowed on planes anymore. It reminds me of the flight I took within the year where a couple of guys returning from Cabo had tequila in Kirkland cranberry juice 1 gal jugs. They were carried directly on board. Made me think of Mexican Moltov cocktails just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
