I understand and respect why emma asked for "intervention" by Agora, and the many posts that followed, to include mine.

I disagree that you should have to constantly monitor this EDIG board of adults. We have many hub leaders, senior posting members etc, that have been empowered by your terms of use, 6 rules specifically, and the Hub Leader "authorities" that it is OUR duty, not yours, to make sure this EDIG discussion forum remain professional.

I joined Sept 6, 2008 after nearly 10 years on other EDIG boards, because they got out of hand. The reason IMO that they turned into "trash sites" is because the members had no control, so anything was fare game and still is. Raging Bull has become so disgusting, I won't even drop in and read.

Early in my membership here, I flagged a post for vulgarity, and I have never done it since. I have told many who have contacted me via PM, when I became a HL recently, that I would leave flagging or removing posts to others, who are senior to me in here. I did not see the need for me to exercise this "privaledge" for two reasons; 1. I am more tolerant of peoples comments/agenda etc, 2. there are several who are less tolerant, and feel the need to do their thing, which I respect.

To keep you from having waste your time baby sitting all of us adults, I think it's time for my trigger finger to get in shape, do what others do, in an effort to keep this board from deteriorating.
