Reminder: Acceptable forum behavior

Good Afternoon to you all.

Thank you for your participation and contributions within the AGORACOM Community. We have noticed that the discussion on this forum has temporarily become divided along emotional lines, rather than factual lines. We have no problem with the latter however we respectfully ask every participant within e.Digital and AGORACOM to be respectful of others.

If you cannot reach agreement, thats only a natural outcome of the differences in opinion. But please refrain from referring to other posters in a manner you would find offensive if the same tone was directed towards you.

We understand that this situation regaring the recent ban of the poster thillaj has upset a lot of us however, given the formality of the request, we had to take that necessary action. As reiterated yesterday, this is nothing personal against the poster thillaj, it is only a necessary measure we had to take given the formality of the circumstances. We'd be happy to keep you all informed once we are in a position to provide further comment.

In the meantime, any posts reported as a violation have been waived; as stated many times publicly and privately in the past, we aren't here to punish or ban anyone. If however personal attacks and derogatory comments towards other members continues posts will likely be removed.

Thank you all again for your participation within AGORACOM and for your understanding. If you have further questions you know I would be happy to answer them.

Kind Regards,

Andreas Marouchos

AGORACOM Community Director
