Message: IMS is getting it done, and not in court

"I am a business consultant and member of the Board for a number of small companies (up to 30 mil sales). I consider success when revenues grow organically from the main business of a company for which it burns dollars to sustain.

The company's main business as stated is their patent portfolio, which to this point is successful. It's been difficult for a very small company with no cash to support the type of growth the companies you are involved with do. Additionally I would submit that "no-one" outside the company knows how many dollars were required to keep our doors open all of these years, a feat which an extreme few have accomplished given similar circumstances during the same period of time.

The present revenues are, for all practical purposes, exogenous to that and they could be had at any time as far back as 10 years ago or more. It is fine to be excited by the prospects of the activities of DM but what about the activities of the management. Its activities and vision predicate the future of the co.

I'm quite sure and the company has acknowledged that mistakes have been made during the last 10 years. However I reiterated that very few companies in similar circumstance during the same period of time even exist any longer. Sometimes the quarterback has to scramble, sometimes he's in the shotgun, sometimes it's a hail mary...who cares as long as we are able to play again?

I want them to share it with us. Otherwise, it will be a company that leverages its patents with nothing else to show.

I think "everyone" wants them to share everything with us! However do we want them to do so if it means damage to our company? digecor has proven that they will use "literally anything" to prolong their suit, why help them. Also the company has of recent clearly indicated the direction and courses of action they are pursuing beyond defense of the patent portfolio.

In this case we do not have to burn all this money per month and an office with 2 or 3 people should be adequate to manage this affair.

What evidence do you have to support this statement?

And, for the record, I do not know any other company of the same size or product such as Edig."

Or I might add in similar circumstances as edig is currently? Perhaps your experience adds a biased tint to your view in this case?
