WDM LAN update

Mike Hackert, NAVAIR - This presentation will describe the nearly completed Requirements Document by Arinc and SAE that will be used as the basis for an industry specification for the optical wave division multiplexed (WDM) local area network (LAN) for military and perhaps ultimately commercial aircraft and IFE.

Bill Hardin, L-3 Photonics – Introduction to L-3 Photonics, current WDM-LAN technology, and applications to commercial aircraft platforms.

Dr. Raj Dutt, CEO of PhotonIC Corporation - presentation on the technology and an update on the chip production and availability.

Your feedback will help the TC leaders develop the future agendas and strategically plan the future direction of the committee.
