Not just this board, but other boards, and comments by many sources over the last year:

1. "EDIG is a patent troll."
2. "Patent infringement suits are NOT a business model."
3. "PTSC, the Sister Company." ??
4. "Revs from settlements will not sustain EDIG, when this effort is over..bla bla bla."

My opinions:

1. Why should EDIG NOT go after those who stoled their stuff? Give me an Itailan break for GODS sake....
2. Had EDIG achieved it's business model/goal in the 80's, by selling their patents/IP (as did QCOM for an example) we would not need DM for the last 12 months and into the future, for as long as it takes.
3. Who the heck cares? We should just buy them and be done with it!!
4. The $ coming in, as expressed repeatedly in PR's by EDIG management, posts in here from many based on conversations with "XX" at EDIG, are what will propel EDIG into the NEW business model by forming partnerships, pushing eVU into non-IFE markets, allow us to buy outfits that take us beyond the patent stuff going on today, and these settlements plus CROSS LICENSING AGREEMENTS will provide endless opportunities beyond our patents that "end" between 2014 to 2016, depending on which one(s) we are talking about.

IMO, we need to focus long term, not the daily PPS/vol, but what EDIG is slowly building over time, that will keep them is business for decades to come.

At times, I personally lose focus of what I just said (1-4), and could could mouth off and elaborate further, but I keep bringing myself back to reality, keeping my expectations in check, and believe for a FACT (hello there sunpoop) that in the long run, my investment over the last 9+ years will NOT fail me.

Big deal if PR's since Mar 2008, thru today, and those to follow (SOON) do not effect that much of an uptick in the PPS short term, as long as we believe in the end goal, which to me, will be sooner than we think.

We live in a world wanting instant gratification, and it ain't gonna happen folks. Keep your chin up, take a deep breath when needed, and keep your strength for the BIG RIDE...soon.
