I just made a couple of calls. What I can gather is that IMS has indeed been "trying" to do as you suggested. They are supposed to have someone working for them that has been successful in the past with some small niche markets. A couple of studio's have suggested they might sign up. Word has it that everyone else is rejecting the idea and that even those couple will be backing out. IMS on their site have no news announcements indicating the exclusive contract that you said was already done as they certainly would have if true. eDig "does not" have to go through IMS to get content. You might want to re-check with your sources. Also the IMS announcement you listed in your post has nothing to do with exclusivity. Our down loaders seem to be working well...?
