My hope....seeing the court ruled against the supercede clause of the subsequent more formal contract and related NDA's, that perhaps they may view the NON compete clause of the former agreement as a matter of introduction in revealing ideas only and not necessarily relating to a possible business venture in general.

I see the NON compete as an obligation in the event that e.Digital decided not to work with Boyer after he revealed his ideas.

It all lies in the true intent of the NON compete.
