There are a host of possible reasons things are quiet, from airlines getting cold feet, to being pressured by the competition, etc, etc...

One thing I haven`t seen mentioned is the possibility of APS/WENCOR spinning off their newly acquired IFE division into an IPO to raise capital and further leverage this space. Quiet periods serve many purposes...just one more possibility to consider.

If Wencor was considering something along these lines, they also may be in negotiations with EDIG for a piece of the company or a technology/platform licensing deal, thus locking down the engineering talent and proprietary technology to give them some level of credibility as a ``tech`` company ``when and if`` this scenario were to play out...

Anyways...you prompted that thought.
