PN saying 'pull the SD and it wont work' indicates its manipulation IMO; them mentioning the possibility of tier2 implies 'essence of design' and and future intrinsic internal flash related claims.

Heck tier2 could even mean we serve different companies with more striengent claims per 774 on 'essense of design' because IMVHO It is what it is...
