I joined this board last Sept, and it took me a while to be understood. My choice of words at 1st, was interpreted to be negative, and I was challenged by a few. Once I clarified my point, what I had to say, slowly became more acceptable. After a while, and learning the personalities the best anyone can of a "stranger" on a message board, I adjusted my style here and there. I did not realize saying, "why are we still at a dime after the announcement of LG settling", caused me to be attacked? My expectations had me believing the PPS would uptick greatly, so when it did not, I raised the question, and got lectured, so...another lesson learned.

I did notice, but had no idea how many years it had been going on, that LL and a hand full of others, many of which were hub leaders, had been going toe to toe 10+ years ago on other boards, and it carried over to Agora, starting Dec 14, 2004 (based on the oldest member day I've seen), which was the day I turned 57 in case anyone cares.

Here is the problem:

Sunpoop posted a message that tweaked LawyerLong, and LL's response broke one of your rules. Minister and others, began going after him. LL later apologized for using a word that is not allowed, but the fire grew as more fuel was thrown on it by many. Then, Minister asked that he be demoted/removed, not exactly sure of the wording, but I took it to mean no longer being a hub leader. I NEVER saw the word BANNED.

Sunpoop posted a request that he remain as a poster, and get this, he's the guy LL said something to that was a violation!!! If he is Man enough to let it go, then so should Minister, and the others who chimbed in to beat LL up.

What, just a month ago roughly, he was promoted to hub leader, then over a few weeks, his ranked kept going up. His style never changed, and yes, he broke a rule and admitted it. To me, this is not enough to be permantly removed. Agora I ask you, how many times was LL reported as violating one of your 6 rules? Was your decision correct??

Anyone can have a bad day, say something they should not, and be sorry for it later. I've done it, and so have many!!!

I ask you to reinstate his account, with the understanding that this does not happen again. I also ask that everyone else in here, if you have a beef with another, to do what I suggested yesterday, TAKE YOUR DISCUSSION TO A PM, SETTLE THE ISSUE, THEN COME BACK TO THE FORUM. HAD THIS BEEN DONE, WE WOULD NOT BE WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW.

If Sunpoop, the "victim" of LawyerLong's comment, be Man enough to ask for him to come back, then you Agora, should grant his request.
