Samsung's law firm in this case is Kirkland & Ellis, LLP out of New York. They have had three partners (Michael Jones, Todd Friedman and Gregory Arovas) with a combined 49 years of experience. Jones/Arovas have been on this case for 9 months and Friedman for 4 months.
Now just two weeks ago they add Christopher Gerson, an associate with 1 year of experience. Hmmm, is he there to mop things up due to a pending settlement?
