You will see many examples of what I am talking about. This is small bank from my home town which is not traded on any exchange. Shares are sold in auctions where you submit a bid, and the top bids get whatever shares are being sold. The auctions typicly have fewer than three to five hundred share available at one time.
I alway go to this site because it gives you a good idea what your shares are worth without waiting for the semi-annual report.
You'll notice that all of the statements are from officers or board members.
