They have worked for over a decade to get to the point of having a growing revenue stream. They finally might just be in a place to deal from a position of strength, grow the company, fund new ventures, acquire other companies, pay down debt or expand their patent portfolio by financing those patent pending claims and then exploit what new opportunities that present as a result of an expanded patent portfolio.

Why even think of dividends? Sell some shares if you need the cash but don't weaken the company.

EDIG at $1 is a much bigger gain than any dividend play...and besides, penny stocks just have ZERO business issuing dividends.
