RP stated in good english to me not 5 feet away, "We are offering the first company to settle a discount"...(the initial 8 being sued) He later stated the rest would NOT get the "discount"

Since I speak plain english and that was plain english I do not know what other definition you can give that sentence.

I do believe he made the very same statement at the SHM.....Others were there. Perhaps they can or cannot verify if he did.
