``I wonder who sold it?``

I wonder too. This is a question that I have been considering putting on the board but have been somewhat reluctant to show off my naivete in investing tactics.

What would keep the market makers in this stock from buying a (this) stock on a regular basis, i.e., accumulate it, knowing full well from scuttlebutt gained from being inside a ``circle`` that the stock would inevitably make a good run. Would they carry inventory for a substantial period of time?

This way when buying pressure (but not serious buying pressure) came along, they could sell off some of their inventory - or buy some - without leaving footprints. It would also give the impression that there was little interest in the stock and maybe deflate enthusiastic investors. When the pressure became serious, then they could start selling off their inventory for some serious gains.

If anyone has the name of a book that gives insight into the tactics of the market makers, I would appreciate it.

thanks, burns
