IF we settle against the initial group of "small" suits and then "tackle" the larger infringers (those able to bear the expense of a long court fight), would it not be expedient for the large infringer to purchase the company and its IP portfolio rather than pay a very large settlement covering sales for the past 15 years and then also pay royalties on a continuing basis (including legal fees to fight us in court)? Besides, the purchaser could then sue anybody left out of the original 184 infringers to recoup!
