emit.... e.Digital was an inaugural member of VoiceTimes.....and probably thought that their methods would be picked up in a standards initiative....which is what VoicesTimes was established for.

As I see it, standards was not the issue and IBM created their own initiative of embedded ViaVoice which is clearly linked off VoiceTimes.
