That thought is (put as a question): could it be that there are installed digEs that are just digEs that are installed and not having the additional functionality of the digEsystem (and therefore not a digEsystem - just independent, current function digEs)? Or perhaps digEs having some additional functionality (e.g., card reader)?
Seems possible and a viable way to eliminate the ``burden on the FAs`` concern (if it really exists).
As for the name thing (which fits with the above when using Gil`s, er, the Minister`s example); at this point, with all the apparent secrecy re: digEs/customers, etc., why not? LOL This view holds more water assuming those Aeroflot/Cathay Pacific installed ubits are in trial mode (not showing your hand till you`re ready to commit). I suspect they are in trial mode, as I don`t recall a definitive answer to who`s supplying those specific units. I also don`t recall a clear indication of the extent of roll-out by either, though Aeroflot I believe has only been touting the digE. This could also explain those very ugly covers/frames for those Aeroflot units (i.e., they`re only temporary).
File this under ``somewhat wild speculation``! LOL
And I KNOW nuttin`!

PS: Gil - yeah I worked those ``Aeroflot installed`` numbers once. Will doer again ``soon``! LOL
