Agora's EDig board is bringing back a lot of the "oldy but goody" names out of retirement. I think that is absolutely fabulous. That's what happens when good news starts seeping out and the light at the end of the tunnel glows much brighter than in the past.....TwoMil and others.....Like to see Tinrod put in an appearance....

However one name still has not made and appearance and has been asked about by some of you here......DINKIE.....

As you know he turned to the "dark side" back in the days when EDig's future largely consisted of "soons", "expects", "maybes", "looking forward to tell you in the next quarter"......etc..... No product, no income, nada por nada.I even had enough of his constant "NNN's and we had a few words. I might have turned to the "dark side" myself if I didn't "bleed" EDig blood all this time, since 1991.

However since I saw a few references to him and with other "names from the past" showing up I thought I would call him and see what his thoughts are now.

We talked for a while and he sounds very pleased with what EDig is doing but cautious. He has definitely shed his "dark side" where EDig is concerned and is his cheerful self again.

So I asked him to return like others have and he said he would like to but the minute he does he gets kicked off again, and he mentioned Silversurfer as one who doesn't seem to want him posting again.

I have no knowledge of that but would ask all of you, especially Silversurfer if it be true, to give him "a shot" again at being one of the better posters we have ever had and also, like Doni and EMit full of technical knowledge.

He is not a Sunpoop or a Daboss, more like a LL and while LL and I have our disagreements they are all about attitude NOT what he says. I have said to him more than once, sooner or later he will have to find "SOMETHING" positive in EDigland.

Look at it this way, if he displeases you still you can always have him removed again.....
