I think that a former employee of Intel`s, and possibly more in the industry, told Boyer of APS to go check out this small engineering company that Intel had worked with. e.Digital was able to impress the inventor of the digeplayer, possibly even more than he had expected. He could have chosen Linux, but he chose e.Digital. I think you are correct.
