This model is so much more efficient...no marketing or manufacturing costs, just cash to the bottom line.

How many more settlements of this size do we need to become profitable?

Based on the recent Q, we need about 8 in a time frame to give us Q over Q over Q black ink.

We are not there yet and I know we need operating capital, but it is certainly possible based on RP's comments to Frank, IMO. Management has been true to their predictions for the most part and I see no reason to doubt we will see added filings. Obviously, the settlement side will be in DM's lap, but one is better than none and, IMO, that first license is the toughest. Should EDIG's tech continue to be easy to prove infringment, the time line could be more compressed for early (prior to Markman) settlements. It just makes sense as DM wants a pay check as well.

I'm assuming the last part -- EDIG's tech being easy to show infringment -- because I cannot imagine why LG would settle if they did not believe they deserved the mean ole copy cat tag. This may be the single biggest difference between EDIG and that "P" company and they shot up to $2.25 before the USPTO review and the pps degraded back to pre-settlement #1 levels.
