In the Nikon et al case, the Markman Hearing is scheduled for Feb 2010. In the Vivitar case, it's scheduled for May 2010.

We only need one Markman Hearing to have the Court validate our patents are solid (which LG has already done!) so the Vivitar date will probably be moot. That is unless all remaining 6 defendants in the Nikon et al case settle early and the case is dismissed before Feb 2010. In that event, we'd proceed with the Vivitar Markman and so on. I am stoked with last weeks press release stating EDIG is planning more IP action against newly announced infringers in the next 4 1/2 months...and RP told sunpoop at least 20 new defendants. That is definitely "expanding" their licensing and legal efforts.

In May 2011, I hope to be on a 2-week vacation in Hawaii celebrating my EDIG investment and my 50th birthday.

P.S. OK maybe I have a rough timetable in my head! LOL
