EDIG notched their first license deal. Good.
Not 5 billion dollars. Bad.
$1,600,000.00 one time fee. Not Bad. In line with much of the speculation.
Q loss of $72,000.00. Not Good. Not as Bad as many companies.
EDIG lives to continue their strategy of IP license deals out of court with an admitted mean ole copy cat. I can live with that -- as long as DM is in the picture and we see continuing efforts. I am betting we will see those activies as Frank discussed with RP.
The eVU sales were disappointing as I had thought we would see much more than was reported. I due understand the market conditions for airlines and I'll get over it. However, I will state that I believe it will be very important for EDIG to have a viable on-going business and alternate revenue stream. Otherwise, Wall Street may view EDIG as they view that darn "P" company. Yes, I know the difference, but Wall Stree may only see two Patent Trolls. IMO, EDIG needs the eVU business for more than just a few dollars here and there.
If I did not believe the current strategy with DM, I would be gone. Unfortunatly for you, I'm still here and believe 2009 will be a good year for everyone involved.
