Another way to look at it... at least now we KNOW.

We certainly settled on the low side of most estimates (looking like 1.6M is indeed the gross amount before legal expenses), but what I’m most pleased about today is the fact that they DID report the amount - which I truly didn’t expect given that terms were reported to be confidential and the word was they would attempt to hide the actual numbers in the 10Q. I too wonder what happened to that.
Imagine all of the complaining if they did NOT report it for what it was. I think even if one was disappointed with the amount, you’d have to consider the reporting of it as a positive even if they didn’t call direct attention to it in a press release. This suggests that any future settlements will be reported in a like manner. Hope we get some more to look for in the 3rd quarter financials (2/15/09).
