I respectfully disagree.

One need not be fully cognisant to the point of fully undestanding the mechanisms of action, whether the investment is in high tech, biotech or most any other technology.

If that were the criteria, we`d all only be invested in Krispy Kreme and McDonalds...lol

Yes I think a basic understanding should be a requirement for any investment, but not to the level of your of understanding.

That being said, I`m glad you`re here sharing your expertise with fellow investors.
