Lawsuit filings

To date we have seen DM file 8 Lawsuits, approximately 170 yet to be filed.

Let's assume DM is successful in obtaining settlements or trial successes for the 8 filed to date.

It would be safe to conclude that DM had proved the patent validation as a result.

At that point, knowing with a high probability of future success, one would think, that as opposed to carrying the total suits out over a long period of time as has been discussed, that they would lean towards utilizing as many of their patent lawyers and initiate filing as many lawsuits as they could manage.

With a potential 8 in the bag, why would they want to contemplate filing other suits where the chance of success is far less than current settlements, all assuming wins as stated above?

Expediting the number of lawsuits to 10-25 per quarter would yield the maximum dollar return in the shortest period of time. Using 15 per quarter, the total suits could be filed within a 3 year period. It's conceivable that the infringement suits could be filed in a 2 year time frame.

This above scenario is possible by filing fewer than the above numbers since we may entertain the thought that many may settle through discussions without having to file any lawsuit.

The hundreds of millions of dollars, as stated by RP, may provide substantial income from 2009-2011, and from that time forward, edig should have engineered and marketing many new products in different markets and perhaps completed some acquisitions.

This is an energetic scenario, but as feasible as some optimistic ideas put forth in the past.
