I appreciate your kind words, and you have no idea how good that made me feel Raggie!!!

My "blind buddy" is only one of my current "projects."

We had a great shopping and lunch experience today, as we have done for 10+ years. He depends on me, and I enjoy helping him.

He is one of many over the 30+ years of me doing this for people and has litterly been my golf if that makes sense.

In the last several years, there have been stroke victoms that I have helped, and one of them was lost Jan 6th this year. So I'm looking for a replacement to continue my devotion to those who need me....I currently have 3 guys in this state that I visit and help.

One in particular is 82, a retired Marine, and he enjoys me taking him to a pub many days a week while his in home care giver does shopping etc. We visit over a beer or 2 until his care giver picks him up. A sweet Man who is wheel chair bound and only has the use of his speech and his left hand, barely that is, to drink his Miller Lite. He is a decorated war hero who has flown on Air Force One, Visited the White House, and has pictures of him and President Reagon on his fireplace mantle. A wonderful Man he is!!!

In the mean time, I have been helping a 28 year young gal...get this , a recently licenced attorney, but no relation to LL...LOL, who found out she had inflamitory breast cancer and neither could be saved. After the surgery a few weeks ago, she is now going thru many weeks of radiation, and next year the reconstruction will begin. It's a 2 year deal, and my role is one of moral support. This is my second time with this "venture" having helped another young gal, and I must admit, I have difficulty keeping back the tears. The patient and Parents appreciate my help for sure. It's a great feeling to help gals with this issue. I also have contributed to the 60 mile walk via Susan B Komen year after year. A great cause if one can be so inclined to support this effort.

Now that I have been done for many years coaching Little Leage, Basketball, Soccer, Football, Swimming and Water Polo, my focus is on the elderly who have been forgotten so to speak. I love what I do for other people, and it is very fullfilling on a daily basis.

In my spare time, I mess in the stock market and try my best to upset people in Agoaro about EGID stuff in here...LOL, to the nth degree!!!! But, if I find smart people who want to join me, and uplifting spirit to give me the energy to do more important things, that help people in need of my time, as I have been blessed with health thus far, I will carry out my message to others as long as I can.

EDIG will be our next financial blessing, and I will use much of mine if that ever takes place, via hype, guessing , speculation, or just plain BS, that gets us there.

Anyway, thank you Raggie for the kind gesture, as it all makes what I choose to do worth while. I have felt that for 30+ years, but a compliment is a rare thing, not anything I need or expect, but in the few times it has come over the years, it hit home.

Time to read all the other posts and give people my "grief." HAAAAAAAAAAA
