EDIG's claims are against LG ELECTRONICS USA and it is likely that the suit noted in the artilce is another division....probably all part of the same parent company however...but that needs to be verified.

The point of my posting the article goes to LG's legal counsel's decision to defend itself in the face of a weak patent case.

They settled quickly with EDIG after DM made its presentation.

I think this bodes well for the strength of EDIG's case and the skill with which DM handles itself.
