This board has been successful because we've been allowed to run it. We have been tolerant of many off topic items ie; Wine, Sports, Politics and many others. Just like a bunch of friends/acquaintances would if they were sitting around together in anywhere USA. Our primary focus by far is eDig, and it is eDig that keeps us rooted in agreement even if we don't agree with one another on other subjects. Getting rid of all other topics on this forum will ruin it as it will make it devoid of personality. It's how we build a community and get to know each other. If one subject or another gets too far out of line "usually" peer pressure deals with it. I like "most" of what we've permitted to date, even the politics...which occasionally makes me wonder why I've enjoyed some of you so much :)
