Good point, I forgot that APS/Wencor is privately held. Even so, is it possible that they run on a different fiscal year like a public company?

IMO, it probably does not matter. I doubt any company, public or private, would issue an approved public communication stateing ``first quarter`` and not mean calendar year -- unless stated as ``fiscal first quarter.``

As for some of the concerns posted, I don`t see the bad news other than the time line is once again extended, but I believe that EDIG is THE engineering entity for the digEsystem. Lots of NRE dollars if Wencor is going after a major piece of that 2.5 billion dollar pie. And they are doing just that...hired lots of IFE sales reps and a big league IFE consultant. This is not a company that is looking for peanuts. They are going for that carrot and spending the money to do it ASAP. It is EDIG`s security that matters to the studios....remember ``patent pending hardware encryption.``
Wencor is going full speed ahead as exhibited by where they are putting their money. IMO, EDIG is guaranteed a ride by virtue of their proprietary tech that has the major studios agreeing to be included. Now, add all the other new features and, if not EDIG, explain who did the engineering and had the studios approve already? The revenue stream may change as the price drops, but how much of this new IFE market does Wencor expect? Even a 5% share = $125,000,000.00 and more than doubles the size of their company.
While not on the time line most of us want (yesterday would be good), this is very good news, IMO.
We now have our new bone.
