I do track the S&P500. Without regard to the other mutual funds you are speaking of, if you were lucky enough to be out of it at the right time, as some of us were, the S&P500 is up 45.25% since 3/11/03. Not too shabby!
That is after the recent losses...I am satisfied with that!
This investment, i.m.o., is a TOTTALY different animal!

P.S. I.M.O., there is too much doom and gloom going on with the market projections in general..which, I believe, is healthy, and that those predictions will be wrong by the end of this year.
