That's the one thing I'm still worried about... is how the news will get out to reach the larger audience that it must in order for the share price to seriously react.

If EDIG could annouce that they've paid off all existing debt and are moving forward with larger business plans as Trillium suggested, that would be enough for us to know that things had changed, but how would the rest of the investing public come to know or understand the significance?

Hopefully there are ways and they will soon become clear.
