I visited my club last night, as well, although I have not played in two years! Shock, huh!
Our course has been closed for 9 months with temporary greens only due to some type of poison being applied to the greens shortly after a greenskeeper was hired.
Last night, for the first time, the topic of conversation NEVER included the condition of the course or what was going on with it (we are due to re-open on Oct 14th).
The topic was solely about the economy and the continuing bad news the last few months of the Presidential campaign year. Go figure!
If I was smart enough to be able to pick the bottoms, as you request, I probably would not spend so much time reading the boards. Thanks,
