I don't know exactly how this works....so far they have baffled all chatroom experts with results and timing.

It seems likely it is a company named in current litigation since they stated they were in settlement negotiations some time back.

However, who knows what DM's strategy is. I recall RP stating there was a very good reason Vivitar was named first and that it would be explained at a later date. With their takeover it might indicate they wanted this off their books. But again, who knows.

So I am just enjoying the market's reaction to the NEWS of EDIG's first patent settlement that occured quickly and efficiently. Regardless of the judgement size, this early settlement validates Nunally and DM's positions and indicates many more can be expected to follow.
