Tell me what good satellite feed does you over the polar routes....zilch.
Connexion has connection issues. Tons of money has been dedicated to solving those issues but the jury is still out.
EDIG offers a solution with half the weight at half the price of most embedded solutions, is overflowing in options and can coexist with satellite feeds in the future, if I understand that part correctly.
With fuel costs being what they are, the embedded system is right on target with serving its customer`s needs.
